between law and politics
there is truth

in the last breath of violence
cloaked as justice,
One Glorified Terror,
punishing many forms of liberation

what’s raw in this world is between that
“legal form which can have no legal form”
in the lawless space of camps between
here and there, good and bad, white and black

but there is neutral,
something watches and smiles
something watches and cries
to see this life so badly beaten down
so raw and bare, Homo Sacer,
bare life in theory?

in spite of the French Revolution(s)
this state is unrecognizable.

how can democracies have violence
how can violence be democratic

whats more raw in this world
in time we will find
between our hearts and our minds.

what it takes

some people just have what it takes
to make you write a line or two.
whether or not we're excited by ideas
they will seem redundant
without bright people to view.

It's the need for recognition,
self-consciousness beyond the self,
realization - without the help -
of others.

yet, in contradiction, here I sit,
writing a bit,
due to simple request
from you!

friends, this is what it takes,
slight motivation,
some inspiration,
soft liberation,
from the everyday.

readers, this is what it takes,
to give me a break
from the lie
of self-conscious "I"
to the key -
a responsive "We"
